I decided to throw together a brief episode to offer a break from my conversation with Aaron. Do not fear, there is more to come on that front, and soon. For if you choose you can hear me rambling on about my computer situation addressed, the flooding situation going on in Peru and my recent family trip that ended up at Pops, a cultural spot on Route 66 and some upcoming concerts I'd like to attend. Part two of my conversation with Aaron is all about music. First we talk about the songs we have done then venture into the reality of how some bands can change their songs as time goes by and have their fans be perfectly okay with it while others cannot. As well, some bands can experiment with different ideas and sounds while others remain trapped in what they have created. Strange how this happens. Rush, Iron Maiden, Smashing Pumpkins, Twisted Sister and more get discussed. I also offer up my definition of what hair metal really is/was. Finally, we delve into the idea of selling out and the episode ends in mid thought of Metallica. Do not fear, it will continue on in part three.

A few weeks ago I sat down with my friend Aaron and I recorded over three hours of our conversation. This is the first part. Aaron is the guy who plays the music that I put my lyrics to, so of course we started off talking about music, specifically some upcoming concerts in our area. That led to talking about drunks, Aaron's hometown of Huntington, WV, work and then we cycled back to music, this time our stuff. Music is a theme in life that we share albeit in different ways.
