Alejandro Escovedo Releases His Latest Album "Street Songs Of Love"

This past week Alejandro Escovedo released his latest album Street Songs Of Love which is of course incredible so I thought I'd put up a few live videos to showcase the new tunes. Bruce Springsteen and Ian Hunter drop in to lend guest vocals on "Faith" and "Down In The Bowery" respectively. The thing about Al's music is that it lives and breathes and changes over time so you never know what you are going to hear depending on which musicians he brings with him so to prove that I've included 2 versions of the song "Anchor." If you love real music put out by musicians who really care about what they are doing then you absolutely owe it to yourself to check him out whenever he comes anywhere near you. Now I just wish we could get him to come to Tulsa.
